As of now, Dedrone offers an RF sensor for the detection of rogue drones. The new sensor tracks down UAVS by means of their radio frequencies (RF) in a distance of up to 1640 feet (500 m) and will be integrated via software interface directly into the DroneTracker platform. Thus, drones with cameras for example, that send video signals in real time to a ground station, are identified. “Many customers have been waiting for this additional sensor with increased reach”, said Dedrone CEO Joerg Lamprecht. “We are happy that we enabled another level of detection with the RF sensor and hence detect drones even more reliably and faster.”
